I bought my son a 3TB My Passport last December and it just stopped being recognized last night. I hooked it up to my laptop and it showed up in Disk Management but said it needed to be initialized. I am guessing that is because the PS4 format is not recognized by Windows 10. It is still not being recognized on the PS4. WD has added a stylish wavy texture into the half of the drive that's home to the powered USB port and power indicator. The waves also provide a better grip on the glossy plastic.

WD doesn't provide any PC partitioning utility for the drive (for those not using it with a PS4), but you can use the Windows or OS X (or Linux) system utilities for that.
